Pictures on the website.

  • I would kindly like to thanks Howard Nurseries, Norfolk and Romany Software for providing me with some of the photo’s for my website.

  • While everything has been done to accurately depict the exact colour of plants, sometimes due to photography, light conditions or technology plant colours may vary slightly, but this should only be by a modicum.

Delivery and Returns;

  • We aim to dispatch plants as soon as possible after receipt of payment.  Sometimes, however dispatch can be delayed for a number of reasons.  Namely, we want to ensure the plants arrive in good condition. When we dispatch your plants we will always send you an e-mail notification so you are aware of when roughly your plants will arrive.  Should there be any delay anticipated we will e-mail and let you know and this is an opportunity to discuss options.  Plants will be securely packaged in cardboard boxes and sent by recorded delivery via FedEx.

  • If you are unhappy with your plants when they arrive, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to discuss options.

  • Delivery may cease as some point over the summer (usually late late May – early September) due to the size of the plant at this stage.  We will always notify you of any delay.

  • Please not that your rights to return goods to returns products are protected under EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm.

  • Postage and Packaging will be charged at £8.00, no matter the size of your order.

Descriptions

  • We make every effort to ensure that we apply the correct name to the plants we sell.  All descriptions of plants are my own (James Coles) and are not intended as an encyclopaedic reference, just as a guide to what I have encountered with them.  Plants by their very nature want to live and this often means that they can adapt to different situations better than you might expect, you may find a plant I have listed growing in a different situation and thriving – this is the joy of plants. The only way to find out if a plant is going to grow for you is, - to give it a go!

  • Reasonable soil in my opinion is soil that has been cultivated by spade and fork, has had organic matter (manure/compost) incorporated recently  and is kept weed free.

Minimum Order

  • £20.00 plus postage and packaging, which makes the minimum order you can £28.00.
